WB Krishak Bandhu Scheme 2022
Krishak Bandhu Scheme was started by the Chief Minister of West Bengal state in 2018 to provide financial assistance to the small and marginal farmers of the state in the form of financial assistance of ₹ 5000 per year, but now by doubling the income of farmers in 2021, June Under the Krishak Bandhu scheme, under the 2021 Krishak Bandhu scheme, it has been decided to give a financial amount of ₹ 10000 to the farmers of the state of West Bengal, under the West Bengal Krishak Bandhu scheme, 6900000 farmers of the state of West Bengal will be benefited under this scheme.
By the state government of West Bengal directly for the purpose of farming. Farmers will get financial assistance in which farmers will get ₹ 10000 per year, which will be divided into two installments, these installments will be given to farmers during Kharif and Rabi crops in the year, this financial assistance will be given to the farmers of West Bengal who have 1 acre. Or those farmers who have more cultivable land will be eligible for this amount under this scheme.

Main Objectives of WB Krishak Bandhu Scheme
The purpose of the West Bengal state government behind implementing this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the farmers of their state so that the agricultural sector of the state can be encouraged and the farmers of the state can become financially strong and self-reliant. Benefits Of WB Krishak Bandhu Scheme
Following are the main benefits of Krishak Bandhu Scheme launched by the state of West Bengal.
- Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 10000 will be provided to the beneficiary farmers, which will be divided into equal two installments, two installments will be given to the farmers in Kharif and Rabi season.
- Life insurance of ₹ 200000 will also be provided to the beneficiary farmers under the West Bengal Krishak Bandhu Scheme.
- On the basis of B policy received under this scheme, if a farmer has an accident and death, then he will be entitled to get an amount of ₹ 200000 under the insurance policy.
- Through this scheme, farmers will also be provided insurance for their crops, so that due to any natural calamity, compensation will be given to the crop damaged by the farmer.
- On the basis of life insurance available under this scheme, if a farmer dies in an accident, then that farmer will be provided the amount of insurance within 15 days.
- Through this scheme, the premium for insurance of crop of beneficiary farmers will also be borne by the West Bengal State Government.
