Kalia Yojana 2nd Installment

Under the action plan on September 2021, the amount has been transferred to the farmers in their bank accounts by the Chief Minister of Odisha State Naveen Patnaik. 743 crore has been distributed to the beneficiary farmers under Kalia Yojana.

Kalia scheme 1st installment 

On the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya and Krishak Diwas, the first installment benefit amount will be allotted to the farmers of the state by Odisha State Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik under Kalia Yojana on 14 May 2021. Features of Kalia Yojana

  • Under this scheme, financial assistance is to be provided to small and marginal farmers for purchasing items like seeds, fertilizers and pesticides.
  • Which will directly benefit the farmers. To provide financial assistance of Rs 12500 from the government for small goat farming unit, duck unit, fishery unit, mushroom cultivation and beekeeping.
  • Kalia Yojan To provide financial assistance of 10000 rupees to the weak land tenants, landless farmers and agricultural laborers for the maintenance of them and their families.
  • To the eligible farmers whose age is 18 to 50 years of Kalia Yojana. Their life up to 2 lakhs will be covered in an amount of 330 without cover.
  • For which Rs 165 will be paid by the Odisha State Government under the Kalia Yojana.
  • Farmers loan up to Rs. 50000 will be given at 0% interest rate to marginal farmers and other beneficiaries of Odisha state.

Applicants ineligible for KALIA Yojana

The applicants of the below category will not be eligible for application and benefits under the Kalia scheme. The information of which is given below.

  • medium/large farmers
  • Non-resident of Odisha, who is a resident of any State outside.
  • If any beneficiary or his/her spouse is an employee under G, CG or PSU. So those applicants will also not be able to apply and get benefits under the Kalia scheme.
  • If a beneficiary or his/her spouse is a pensioner. Those applicants will also not be able to get the benefit.
  • If the beneficiary belongs to an urban local body
  • Those beneficiaries who are present / former Union Minister / Minister of State / MP / MLA / Mayor / Zilla Parishad
  • Income taxpayers will also not be able to take advantage of the Kalia scheme.
  • Minors will also not be able to apply and benefit under the Kalia Yojana.
  • The beneficiary whose time limit has expired, those applicants will also not be able to get the benefit under this scheme.
